Meet your business coach!

Amy Barden is owner and founder of AB Consulting. She resides in Conway, AR with her husband, two teenage daughters, and three dogs. She and her husband, a retired C130J pilot, wanted to put down roots in AR and decided Conway was the place to be! Amy’s hobbies include home renovation projects (yes, she does them herself), hiking, gardening, puzzling, and reading. Growing up on a farm in North Central Arkansas made her develop a love for working with her hands and being outdoors. She’s outgoing, driven, and passionate about helping others discover and achieve what makes them happy.

Amy graduated from the University of Central Arkansas with a BS in Finance and was awarded the Outstanding Finance Student in her class. She also earned an MBA in Management Information Systems with a graduate certificate in Data Analytics from UCA. Go Bears! Amy plans to complete her PMP (project management) certification in the coming months. While being a military spouse made it difficult to build and/or maintain a career, she had the opportunity to spend several years as a financial analyst and financial applications manager for various types of clients in both private and public sectors. She has worked with businesses, large and small, all over the country to develop financial reporting goals, utilize proprietary business management software, and optimize their business operations. While the fast-paced corporate world was exciting, she realized her calling was to work with small businesses closer to home. This led to a break from her career to homeschool her youngest daughter and spend more time with her family. Once she and her family moved to their wonderful new home in Conway, she realized she could start doing something similar but on her own terms.

Amy is now offering her consulting/coaching/strategizing services to help your business reach its goals. She will guide clients through identifying their strengths and weaknesses, developing a framework to optimize their operations, and building a battle plan to implement the necessary changes and anticipate outcomes to amplify their success. Whether it’s launching a new business, revenue growth, or just streamlining operations… she’s here to help!
